GEAR CLOSET
A collection of miscellaneous items that I own and gear that I used over the years.
The current pistol that I own- this is a Glock 19 generation 6 subcompact pistol. I only run my surefire light when I have my light bearing holster, such as the Safariland lvl 3. - if I ever do choose to run a light, I run a handheld stream light flashlight separately- and it’s about 150 lumens.
My rifle, this is as basic as it gets- if you guys didn’t know, I do not own multiple guns. I am used to only having one rifle and one pistol if you ask me why? It’s because I have more time training with the ones that I only have.
The edc… this changes from time to time depending on where I’m going and what I am doing. But I never leave the house without medical equipment. The pistol and the medical equipment are inseparable for me.
Weapons maintenance- I don’t care if I shoot 10 rounds or 1,000 rounds—my pistol gets cleaned after every range session. It’s a habit I learned in the military and one I’ll probably never break. Cleaning isn’t just maintenance; it’s an opportunity to inspect, lubricate, and ensure everything is ready for the next trip to the range.
The memorial bracelet-I never take this thing off. Day in and day out everywhere I go. It’s on my wrist. This is a remembrance that life is fragile.
Two belts- these are from kore essentials… one belt is 1.75 inch width and the other is one 1.5 inches width. Once for EDC once for…whatever- I adjust accordingly to the sizes of my holster loops. I mainly use the 1.5 inch for EDC.- and then the 1.75 inch I use for the range.
Oakley’s - I never leave the house without my stunna shades 😎 - I have a disease in both of my eyes from deployment. You have to protect your eyes from the elements, especially from that bright ass sun.
A “religious” pendant or paperweight that will definitely adjust someone’s attitude
This was given to me by my Master Sergeant on my birthday in Afghanistan. And now a Sergeant Major- in charge of a whole battalion in Korea. I will never forget MSG conover. If you’re seeing this, please retire 😂
A personal gift from my good friend Joshua- although I don’t smoke anymore or smoke two packs of cigarettes like a chimney, I think every man needs a lighter-
Danner resurgent boots. Feels like you’re walking on a cloud.. black boots will always absorb heat- especially in the summer season. I’d recommend a tan or a coyote color boot so that way it doesn’t absorb too much sunlight and cook your feet like an oven.
Goruck kitbag. I don’t know how long I had this. From the gym, range - grocery carrying…and to excursions… this kit bag has never failed me. I believe they have one in different capacities.
This one doesn’t really need an introduction. You and me know that this is probably the most premium light for pistols.
Arktis smock in ranger green- my wife’s gift on one of my birthdays. imported from Europe. This is one of the probably the slept gear of all time. This baby has so many pockets that you fit anything and everything you wanted on one mission if you choose to.
Ahh.. the RMR. This one is the type 2. Before red dots actually became a thing people started putting these on their pistols so Trijicon said why not.. this is probably my favorite optic system just because how tough it is. Just like the surefire light it’s been battle tested and proven.
Who doesn’t like headlamps… if you see me out there in the jungles or forests… you’ll see one around my neck or on my head. Don’t forget to carry spare batteries.
If you don’t want your thumbs hurting while reloading your magazines at the range-and if you’re in a hurry -I suggest you get one of these.
Range ammo storage- this little pelican case has been with me for a while. Holds roughly around 600 rounds! Enough for an all day range event
